We ensure the safety of our guests and employees
It looks like we’ll have to live with the corona virus for a long time. Going on holiday will therefore also be organized and experienced in a different way than before.
De Drie Koningen has adapted to this changed situation so that our guests can still enjoy a unique stay in Bruges.
But we cannot do this alone: we also rely on the cooperation and understanding of our guests.
Stay safe in De Drie Koningen
Keeping distance and limiting the number of contacts remain the most important rules in the fight against Covid-19. De Drie Koningen uses some practices to meet these requirements.
✔ Our guests have very spacious apartments.
✔ Only contact with the members of your family or group (max 10 people).
✔ No busy breakfast rooms, but a full kitchen, living room and dining area.
✔ No restaurant found? Then order a “Take away” and still make it a party.
✔ Our apartments have a terrace or garden wich is safer outside.
✔ All shops and attractions are within walking distance. This way you avoid unnecessary long journeys
✔ Visit Bruges on foot or by bicycle and avoid public transport (compulsory use of masks).
✔ “De Drie Koningen” has an extra accommodation if someone falls ill and have to isolate themselves.
De Drie Koningen has taken a number of measures to keep our guests’ stay as safe as possible and to minimize the risk of contamination.
✔ Hand gel is available at the entrance.
✔ We post the rules that apply to guests at the reception, main entrance and the apartments.
✔ We also post the recommendations for hygiene, ventilation and for a daily cleaning round.
✔ For each apartment we provide a starter package of means to maintain hygiene: antibacterial hand gel, rubbing alcohol, kitchen roll, sponge, dish cloth and mop.
✔ The final cleaning is done by our cleaning team on the basis of a checklist.
✔ All reusable linen are washed at the designated temperature
✔ Only lockable trash cans with lockable trash bags
✔ After normal cleaning, disinfection takes place with special attention to frequently used surfaces (kitchen, bathroom, …), door handles, worktops, tables, light switches, remote controls …
✔ Flyers can only be taken at the reception. After use in the garbage.
✔ All guides, books and magazines have been removed.
✔ All toys and board games were removed as a precaution. We ask the guests to bring this themselves.
✔ All beer glasses in the Honsty Bar were removed. Use a large wine glass from the apartment to taste a beer.
✔ We do not use keys: only digital access codes.
✔ The keypads, as well as common door handles and banisters, are disinfected daily. We also provide the necessary products so that guests can also do this themselves.
✔ Once checked out, the guest is no longer allowed to enter the apartment.
✔ The pool can only be used by 4 people at the same time from the same group (including children)
Restricting contacts is one of the basic principles in the fight against Covid-19. De Drie Koningen has organized itself in that sense.
✔ ‘De Drie Koningen’ provides a full online check-in and check-out option.
✔ Actions such as check-in and check-out, instructions, recommendations, access codes, payments are made digitally.
✔ Check-in is done via our Hospitality App in Wishbox.
✔ In the “digital guest zone” you will find information and recommendations about your stay and Bruges.
✔ For the sake of safety, we avoid all contacts between our cleaning team and the guests.
✔ In order to be able to clean and disinfect the apartments sufficiently, the check-in and check-out times were extended.
✔ That is why we ask our guests to check out no later than 10:00 am.
✔ Check-in is only possible from 3:00 PM or when the guest receives a message that the apartment is ready.
✔ A smartphone thus becomes an indispensable tool for the visitor.
